Advanced die tips 1) Have new straight cutting mats 2) cut die on a slight angle 3) I use paper two pieces of cut paper when using advanced dies. One on the die and another on top of that. The second piece does not cut out all the way. It just helps to grab the small pieces out of the first paper and gives you a better cut. 4) If you still have trouble with the die add paper shims on top of the cutting mat. 5) If the die is also and embossing die add embossing foam on top of the cut paper. This should shim the die enough. 6) after cutting gently roll the paper back and fourth a few times. This loosens up all the small pieces and helps you get them out a little easier. 7) always have a pick tool ( dental pick, micro tip scissors or even a tooth pick) handy.
